Default Asterisk

I have been attempting a install of Asterisk on a Debian system. When I load Asterisk in safe mode I receive this error [res_speech.so]Sep 27 08:19:37 WARNING[5992]: loader.c:325 __load_resource: /usr/lib/asterisk/modules/res_speech.so: undefined symbol: ast_module_unregister
Sep 27 08:19:37 WARNING[5992]: loader.c:554 load_modules: Loading module res_speech.so failed!
Any information would be a great help

You can try to search for a package that contains res_speech.so like this: http://www.howtoforge.com/apt_file_debian_ubuntu
