howto setup a 2nd webserver for static content

there have been several posts around this, I think I also found soem pages from falko (not sure about this) describing (theoretically) how to setup a second webserver to serve static content, but there is no definitive howto that also works with ispconfig.

I would really love this, maybe even sponsor it as far as my finances allow....

Google for "apache proxy". You definitely will get something of use.
