Squirrel Mail Auth Problem

Hi guys Thanks for every help i have got from all you guys to configure my system

I here again with a problem i have checked my maillog and below is the error i am getting


Nov 28 19:55:44 Roaster authdaemond: failed to connect to mysql server (server=mysql.example.com, userid=admin): Unknown MySQL server host 'mysql.example.com' (1)
Nov 28 19:55:44 Roaster imapd: LOGIN FAILED, user=alam@hexagonhosting.co.uk, ip=[::ffff:192.168.0.100]
Nov 28 19:55:44 Roaster imapd: authentication error: Input/output error
Nov 28 19:55:48 Roaster imapd: Connection, ip=[::ffff:192.168.0.100]
Nov 28 19:55:49 Roaster authdaemond: failed to connect to mysql server (server=mysql.example.com, userid=admin): Unknown MySQL server host 'mysql.example.com' (1)

Thats the error i am getting i can see the problem but i do not know how to correct it.

where the IP mentioned 192.0.34.166 is not mine i do not know Y it is trying to connect to that, any help please, i will be great ful

I guess you made a mistake when you defined your domainname.
You've set this to example.com but it must be your own domainname or localhost.

If what i suppose is correct, you can change your configuration with this instruction.

Login into your server as root and navigate to your squirrelmail web-directory.
Within your Squirrelmail web-directory give the command:

cd config

Startup the Configuration program:

./config.pl

The Squirrelmail main menu appears.

In the main menu select 2
Select 1 and enter your domain name
Select 3 and define your smtp server (Sendmail or SMTP)
Return to the main menu by pressing R.
After reconfiguring, save your Squirrelmail configuration by pressing S.
Press Q to quit.
