Whitebox Enterprise Linux 4.0 and IBM xs336

Able to install Whitebox Enterprise Linux 4.0 sucessfully but while doing soft rebooting of server using "init 6" or "reboot" or "shutdown -r now" failed to reboot the server.
The system hangs at - "Starting killall". Require hard reboot for the servers.

The HW: IBM xs336 server (Intel base)
OS: Whitebox Enterprise Linux 4.0

Any help in resolving this issue will be great.

After you reset the system, does it boot properly?
