I have not tested. But I'm pretty sure it does not work.

Lighttpd for static files
I was thinking about creating a server for serving static files with lighttpd. Is there a way that ISPConfig can manage that server?
Basically i need it to add ftp users and adding virtual hosts (like static.mydomain.com).
Is this possible?

No, ISPConfig cannot administrate Lighttpd. But you could create Lighttpd vhosts manually and let ISPConfig manage FTP users.
