Default Remoting and subdomain sign up

Hi everybody

Would it be possible to create a sign up script using remoting that creates a subdomain as a site?

I don't have the skills to do this, so if anybody could help me out it would be great.

Thanks
Sebastian

I'm sure it is possible but could you be a bit more specific on what you need? I'm not quite following you.

I would love to have the abilty to give the students at my school access to a sign up page where they could signup for a subdomain.

The following info would be needed input by the student.

Full name
Subdomain name xxxxx.domainname.com
Password for ftp, mysql and site login.

After entering this they should be presented with the usernames and passwords for the system.

Thanks
Sebastian

There is a remote framework that is currently available that can allow remote sign up of the full hosting service what you might need to do is take a look at that and see if it is any use, or try and write another one based on it to do what you need it to do.
