Default DNS issues

To all who can help

I was wondering if i want Use my DNS settings on another computer to break out to the internet how do i go by doin that cause i have my 2 nameservers one of the servers has a second ip address (Virtual IP ) it has its own 2 public ip addresses but now on the HOW TO it says that if i have done it properly i should be able to use it on another machine with no problem but right now its not resolving, the only time that it does resolve is when i use my personal windows DNS as an alternate DNS server
