Default Disable services after installatio

we are using ISPConfig and followed http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-se...ot-ispconfig-3.

Could you please tell us which steps are necessary to disable the dns modul after installation.

- mods-enabled/dns_module.inc.php
- plugins-enabled/bind_plugin.inc.php

Is it enough to remove these symlinks and disable dns in server services? New clients have mail, dns, help, sites, dashboard and tools enabled by default. Is there a way to remove dns?

best regards

1) Remove the symlinks that you listed above.
2) Disable the dns checkbox under System > Server services
3) Edit the file /usr/local/ispconfig/interface/lib/config.inc.php and remove dns from the default modules list.

Get ISPConfig support and the ISPConfig 3 manual from ispconfig.org.
