Default website user write access permission

Hi to all,

i was wondering if i can remove write access to all files/folders under folder web. I assume that ispconfig wants write access only to error and stats folder, correct ? Apart from that it should depend on the specific application needs.

Thx

You can remove write access except for error and stats.

Thx for the reply Till.

Now last question , when i make a change through ispconfig, these permissions get overwritten by ispconfig script. Can you guide me where to go in order to disable setting folder's web permissions and let them as set manually ?

Regards.

Thats only the case when you instructed ispconfig to update the permission on web update in server config.
