Default Problem accessing webdav

Hello,

(V3.0.5.2 on Ubuntu 10.04, Apache/2.2.14)

I followed the manual regarding adding a webdav user for a website, but cannot seem to access it from my browser, by doing http://example.com:80/webdav/subdir or https://example.com:80/webdav/subdir

The useraccount is active, but get a 404 not found when trying to access.

Any tips?

<edit> My own tip would be to upgrade to manual 1.3, so I'll do that, and let you know how it goes

Thanks

The new manual does not give me more info than the older one, so I still have the problem.

I cannot access the webdav area by either http://example.com/webdav/subdir or https://example.com/webdav/subdir

I hope someone can point me in the right direction..

webdav dir:
/var/www/clients/client1/web2/webdav/

error log:
File does not exist: /var/www/example.com/web/webdav

ISPconfig creates the webdav folder in a different location from the location used when trying to access the folder?

Louis

Yes. The URL:

http://example.com/webdav/

translates to the folder location:

/var/www/example.com/webdav/

The apache error indicates that the webdav configuration in the vhost might be missing. Check if there is a vhost .err file in thes /etc/apache2/sites-available folder.

Hi,
There is no err file in /etc/apache2/sites-available, but when I check the vhost:

Document root:
DocumentRoot /var/www/example.com/web

<Directory /var/www/clients/client1/web2/web>

vhost file:

# WEBDAV BEGIN

Alias /webdav/umc /var/www/clients/client1/web2/webdav/umc
<Location /webdav/umc>
DAV On
BrowserMatch "MSIE" AuthDigestEnableQueryStringHack=On
AuthType Digest
AuthName "umc"
AuthUserFile /var/www/clients/client1/web2/webdav/umc.htdigest
Require valid-user
