Default Migration qmail to vmail

Hello everybody,

I would like to transfer my mail from server A to a new server B. Server A is running with Plesk, server B with ISPConfig 3. Both imap.

The mail dir from server A (qmail) looks like this:

Quote:
courierimapkeywords
courierimapuiddb
maildirsize
tmp
courierimapsubscribed
cur
new
The mail dir from server B (vmail) looks like this:

Quote:
courierimapkeywords
dovecot.index.cache
dovecot-uidvalidity.517fc57f
tmp
courierimapsubscribed
dovecot.index.log
maildirsize
courierimapuiddb
dovecot-uidlist
new
cur
dovecot-uidvalidity
subscriptions
I tried to copy only tmp, new and cur but then I can only see all incoming messages in my client (thunderbird) but not the other stuff like sent, trash etc. Does anybody have an idea how to transfer the mails 1:1? Thanks for some help

Tom

I'd use a tool like imapcopy, imapsync, or IMAP TOOLS (you can find tutorials for these here on HowtoForge).
