Question CHMOD - ISPconfig3 default files & webshop files

Hi,

The default web-files in ISPconfig3/Apache2 is set to CHMOD "754" - I am using sites which need the setting "444" and "644". All I need to know is, do the ISPconfig system need any kind of file-rights to do what ISPconfig System does?

Sorry for this newbie question o)

Default

Normally there should be no need to change any permissions. To which exact files and folders do you refer and which error messages do you get in the websites or apache error.log when you use the ispconfig default permissions.
