Default Problem setting up cgi/perl script
hello
i'm new here

i have a cgi/perl script that i can't get to view on a html page
i use dreamweaver to insert the script into a form
i have tried a number of different ideas to try & get it to work & everyone one of them has failed

can anyone help me?

Did you upload it to the correct directory? Did you make it executable?
Any error messages?

the file was uploaded into my cgi-bin & i believe it was made executable & when i go to view the script in the html page it's a blank page nothing comes up

What's in Apache's error log?
Is suExec enabled or disabled for that web site?
Also make sure your cgi script contains Unix linebreaks instead of Windows linebreaks (in case you edited the file on Windows).

That might just mean it's working ... If it's not supposed to give ouput when you view it. How do you know it's not working?
You link to the script from the form? Some more info please!
