can't chdir imapd error

I've just setup my second (first was a few years ago) server following the excellent howto on Virtual Users And Domains With Postfix, Courier And MySQL.

I cut and pasted so I didn't make any typos and I was sure to put in my password and my hostname along the way where needed.

It's almost working but my email client can't connect and I'm seeing these errors in the mail.log

May 15 17:49:50 myserver imapd-ssl: chdir myserver.com/jk/: No such file or directory

Can someone point me to what might be configured wrong?

You must send an email first to that account before you try to fetch emails. The necessary directories are created automatically when the first email arrives.
