Default Domain name pointing issue

I having a issue with only one of my domain names not pointing correctly. I have made sure the DNS records in my registrar are correct and pointing to the server.
Whenever I use http://my-domain.com I keep getting pointed to the default site for apache.
If I use www I am pointed to the correct directory. http://www.my-domain.com

I have checked the vhost file and the server name and server alias are:
ServerName my-domain.com
ServerAlias www.my-domain.com

Thank you in advance for the help.
