Default Setting up default DNS settings

I'm looking to utilize the DNS server portion of ISPConfig however this is not a small migration.

We currently host about 50 DNS zones, which is granted not a lot, however it's still a bit of work to migrate so I'm looking to automate this process as much as possible.

We currently have a Bind server hosting our DNS zones and I can take advantage of importing the zones into ISPConfig however there are a few things that are not imported in the process. Is it possible to set the default settings for the:
1. name servers for all zones created
2. "allow-transfer" setting
3. "also-notify" setting

If you use the dns wizard to create your zones, then you can set these values as defaults in the wizard template.

Thanks for your reply!

I figured out the template I needed:
Quote:
[ZONE]
origin={DOMAIN}.
ns=nt-mail01.my-ns-server.com.
mbox=support.my-email-address.com.
refresh=3600
retry=3600
expire=604800
minimum=86400
ttl=3600
xfer=123.123.123.123,123.123.123.124,123.123.123.1 25
also_notify=123.123.123.123,123.123.123.124,123.12 3.123.125

[DNS_RECORDS]
A|{DOMAIN}.|80.80.80.80|0|3600
CNAME|www|{DOMAIN}.|0|3600
NS|{DOMAIN}.|ns1.my-ns-server.com.|0|86400
NS|{DOMAIN}.|ns2.my-ns-server.com.|0|86400
NS|{DOMAIN}.|ns3.my-ns-server.com.|0|86400
NS|{DOMAIN}.|ns4.my-ns-server.com.|0|86400
MX|{DOMAIN}.|spam01.my-mail.server.com.|20|3600
MX|{DOMAIN}.|spam02.my-mail.server.com.|10|86400
When I create a new zone, the template applies perfectly however when I import a zone, it looks like it doesn't use the template and my nameservers aren't listed.

Is there a way for ISPConfig to also add the existing name server records that are in the zone file when I import the DNS information?

The import tool does not support xfer and notify in the import yet if I remember correctly.

So from what I understand, there is no way to transfer the DNS information from Bind to ISPConfig while keeping the NS records intact?

The import tool can import most parts of the bind record but not all. Feel free to impove it, ispconfig is open sorce software.
