Default SMTP Smarthost Problem?

Hello,

I have a message in the queue the whole day long

Daten vom: 19-02-2013 21:55
-Queue ID- --Size-- ----Arrival Time---- -Sender/Recipient-------
DAC2120046B 149146 Mon Feb 18 22:46:44 office@myserver.at
(host mail.opposite-server.at[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] said: 451 is invalid or DNS says does not exist (in reply to MAIL FROM command))
mailaddy@opposite-server.at

Is it probably a smarthost mail verification problem?

@http://www.mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx it shows

"SMTP Reverse DNS Mismatch Warning - Reverse DNS does not match SMTP Banner"

don't know how to fix that with ispconfig & multiple vhosts

kind regards

Ensure that the reverse dns record of your IP address is the hostname of the server. It does not matter how many websites you host on this server as the hostname of the server exists only once on each server and this is not ispconfig specific.

Default I would do that if I could

my provider sets the reverse dns name bound with the modem, it looks like:

Quote:
root@ws:~# nslookup xx.xx.xxx.xxx
Server: xx.x.x.x
Address: xx.x.x.x#53

Non-authoritative answer:
xxx.xx.xx.xx.in-addr.arpa name = h06RND017RND8.moe.cm.kabsi.at.
do you see any chance to override the reverse dns name?

best regards + thanks a lot

You must ask your provider.
