Default How does phpmyadmin work in multi user mode

I have a 3.0.4.6 multiuser on Debian 6. Have separate ispmanager cp, 2 db servers and 3 webservers. Where does Phpmyadmin get installed (on db servers or webservers) and how do I ensure that users on the each webserver attach to the proper DB?

Would like to see when the users clicks on the Disk Icon it takes him to the db server that has his databases.

What would be even cooler is if they could just go to http://www.customers-domain.com/phpmyadmin and have it bring up the correct copy of phpmyadmin for their databases.

Also not sure what the proper setting for the option 'PHPMyAdmin URL' in System -> Interface Config -> Sites should be in a multi user network with mutiple db's and multiple web sites.

Thanks!

phpmyadmin gets installed on the web server, then edit the config.inc.php file of phpmyadmin and change the mysl hostname from localhost to the hostname of your db server.

There are no changes required there, phpmyadmin is capable of managing multiple servers and multiple databases from one instance.
