Default Why other sites are not able to access ??

Hi,

Recently i have installed Ubuntu latest version, i am not able to access other sites like yahoo , facebook and other sites. but gmail and youtube are the only site am able to access .

Why is this,, what is the setting i have to do ,, i am using chrome and firefox in this both browsers same issue, pls help me, i am very new for this ubuntu...
