Default reconfigure xserver

When using dpkg-reconfigure to reconfigure Xorg I get a file modified no changes made. I did modify the xorg.conf file - what is the command to use dpkg-reconfigure again? I have seen it in the Ubuntu forumsm but can't find it now.
Thanks,
Chris
