Subscriptions via the billing module?

Do you know if it possible to set up the billing module to allow the use of a paypal subscription?

We are currently in the process of setting up our site and some of the people who buy hosting from us have said that they would prefer to register for subscription payments. However i cannot see how this would be possible, because it looks for the payments after the payment request has been set up and the subscription payment could be made before the email is created and sent.

If anyone here can help enlighten me on this issue it would be greatly appreciated.

Paypal subscription payments are not suppoerted in the billing module yet for the reasons you pointed out in the post. Feel free to make a feature request in thebilling module bugtracker and we will see if this can be implemented in a future release.
