ISPConfig 3.03 Centos Postfix Perfect Server
I would like our user to be able to send email through the server hmexample.com (example domain). I created an email domain hmexample.com and then a user firstname.lastname@example.org
. This works with sasl_method=PLAIN and the user is able to send email.
I would also like all mail generated by the website www.hmexample.com
which is on the same server as the mail server to be delivered to mail.hmexample.com which is on a completely different server / IP.
Tried lots of email routing / transport scenarios with no success. I can't seem to get both to work in combination. If I remove the email domain then the SASL SMTP stops working, but if I leave it in place then Apache tries to deliver mail locally and not to the remote mail server IP.
Can anyone help to find the magic combination to get this to work?
