Default Open Ports

I am running ISPConfig 3 on CentOS 6.X

I have a list of ports open and currently working, can I close port 22? I am not using secure FTP and can VPN to SSH if needed.

Port 22 is SSH in general, not just secure ftp. If you dont need ssh, then you can close it.
