ISPConfig3 Client log into consol
Hi,
I would like to connect to my server using the ISPConfig3 generated username for my client, in this case username: 'web2' group: client1.
I've tried logging in through putty with the web2 username, but none of the passwords I've used on my server work including just pressing enter.
As the account was created by ISPConfig, I'm not sure what the password is, if there is one. (I don't know enough about user account creation and permissions yet.)
If I reset the password on the web2 account through the consol, logged in as su root from another account, will I break something within ISPConfig? Will this allow me to loging via puTTY? Or do I just need to change user permissions or ssh config?
Cheers,
Nap
