Default Extend Ext4 partition

I read the good howto
http://www.howtoforge.com/linux_resi...xt3_partitions
about resizing ext3 partition....but i have to resize an ext4 partion
2 question:
1) There are difference on the procedure (especially on the part of delete/re-create journaling) to expand an ext4 partition ?
2) This procedure can have impact on ispconfig config (especially on quota) ?
Thanks
