Perfect Server 12.04

Hi all

I've been following the Perfect Server 12.04 tut

wanted to know why I get the message

ERROR: Connection dropped by IMAP server.

after installing SquirrelMail

Your imap server s not started. Restart the iamp server and check the mail.log file for errors.

I've tried to install this a few times now and I get the same problem

service start imap
start: unrecognized service

this is in the mail.err

The imape server that you installed is dovecot accoding to the logfile. So the restart command is:

service restart dovecot

1) Is ispconfig installed and have you created a email user in ispconfig?
2) Did you use the full email address to login to imap? The username is "user@domain.tld" and not just "user".
