Serious issue when creating unix accounts

Hi,

I found an interesting problem.

I created some site users (web1_user1, web2_user2, etc) and then had to create some users for other services which useradd automatically used the next uid but I think ISPconfig is keeping track of this uid value somehow as then next site user I created overlapped the uid.

So I have a couple of sites which are owned by 2 users with the same uid.

I have since deleted the users accounts and recreated them using 'useradd myname -u 500' etc.. but wanted to let you know if ISPConfig is keeping track of the uid then this is dangerous.

ISPConfig is keeping track of its own userid's in the database, it is not recommended to use other tools to create users above the min. userid you set to be reserved for ISPConfig under management > server > settings on the tab "other".
