Question on spam filter and email forward

Hi folks

Is it possible than email hitting an email forwarder and then forwarding to other users in a different (local) domain will skip the spam filter altogether?

ISPConfig 3.0.4.2 on Centos 5 using courier imap and maildrop delivery.

I cannot see any amavis entries in maillog for the relevant emails.
