ISPConfig 3.0.4.1 and bind9

Hi All,

Today I upgraded to version 3.0.4.1 and all when fine untill I updated a zone in the dns module, It cleared the zone file right out. I have tried to troubleshoot this but I am stuck. I see the zone and record in the GUI and I see it is inserted into the database. The (not so) funny thing is that when I create a new domain the file is created but all the A and MX and NS records are not added to the file.

use domain name for MX and NS record.

MX domain.name. mx1.domain.name.
NS domain.name. ns1.domain.name.

Thank you for you reply but that did not solve the issue, I have updated the zone accordingly but besides the SOA records nothing is added to the zone file.

Any other idea's?

paul.j2ict.net is not domain name, this is subdoain.

you have to create DNS record for: j2ict.net
and then add records

I have the same problem.
After I upgraded to the fresh IspConfig, my Bind broken down.
My named.conf.local file is empty, and SOA records missing in the fresh saved zone file.
I try to downgrade ispconfig Bind php-s and templates, but it couldn't aid.
Anybody can idea what is this?

After I downgraded the /usr/local/ispconfig/server/lib/classes/db_mysql.inc.php file to the 3.0.3 version, the bind start working

I use 2 Ispconfig server, first was installed 3.0.3. version, at now I upgraded to 3.0.4.2., in this configuration perform the bind error again.
After I downgrade the /usr/local/ispconfig/server/lib/classes/db_mysql.inc.php file, the bind work correct.
Another Ispconfig was installed in 3.0.4.1, at now I upgraded to 3.0.4.2. and this is fine at first

I found the problem
In My Ispconfig installation, the "bind_dlz" plugin was enabled (/usr/local/ispconfig/server/plugins-available/bind_dlz_plugin.inc.php was symlinked to /usr/local/ispconfig/server/plugins-enabled). I deleted the symlink, and the problem is disappeared, the bind works correctly.
