Default Mirror question

I've done some searching and I have not quite found a definitive answer. I setup an ispconfig server for a client, now after the fact I would like to setup another at a different location to mirror the one I setup for the client as a backup. Is this possible after an installation has been up n running for a month or is it something that has to be setup when you first setup the original server?

It is possible to do that with a working system, but the systems will not sync themself automatically as ispconfig transfers only changes from one server to the other one. So what you will have to do is that you copy the contents of dbispconfig1 database of the first server to the dbispconfig2 database of the second server. Afterwrads use th resync tool under Tools > Resync to force that the configuration of both servers is written to disk again.
