mailbox creation

i am having an issue when creating mailboxes from ispconfig 3.0.4.3... the folder /var/vmail/site.tld/user is not created. If i create it manually it works.
Ispconfig returns no error.
Tried to update (php -q update.php), reconfigured everything, no luck.
Which log should i post here?
(var/log/ispconfig/ispconfig.log is 0 bytes)

To debug that, you might have to remove the manually created maildir first.
