Default FTP Error - Connection timeout

Hello.

I have problem with this how-to (http://www.howtoforge.com/virtual-ho...-centos-6.4-p2)

All I have done according to the firewall enabled, rebooted, and I tried to connect to FTP.

But after a while it writes error
Code:
Timeout detected.
Could not retrieve directory listing
Error listing directory '/'.

What is the cause?

Hi Kubik,

As you are getting the error of the Timeout, can you please check your hosts entry. Please check your dns entries.
Please check that whether your OS is able to resolve the host.
