ISPCONFIG DataBase Issue

Hi,

I appreciate if somebody can tell how to disable the ispconfig Database appearing for others.

Ex: once I create site for customer enabling mysql DB, when I login using customer login for phpmyadmin under particular customer user name "Ex :Customer1 "its enable to the db_ispconfig main Db for ISPCOnfig.
This very serious security issue and let me know how I can solve this issue.

The problem has been fixed a few years ago in ISPConfig 2, I guess that the initial ispconfig installation on your server is very old. The source of the problem is that mysql uses _ as a wildcard and that your ispconfig database is named db_ispconfig while newer ispconfig2 versions use just dbispconfig.

The solution is that you rename the ispconfig mysql database to dbispconfig and then change the database name in /home/admispconfig/ispconfig/lib/config.inc.php file too.

Dear Till,

Thank you very much for your prompt reply and I’ll try to do as you advised. Even I decided to go for ISPCONFIG 3 in parallel .because of due to some reason we have been shut down the existing server and hence version also was initial one. Please advise me on go for an ISPCONFIG 3.
