Default DNS / MX records with the dot at the end or not? :)

Hi

I appologize if I'm asking a dumb question, I'm not a proffessional admin, just a programmer trying to set up a server

On the DNS tab, when I enter the domain MX records for google apps, should I put a dot at the end of the domain name?
i.e. do i put it like this:
ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
or like this
ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. <- with a dot at the end
?

Thanks

All fully qualified domain names in dns must end with a dot. So the google domains must have a dot at the end.
