I havent Saslauthd in /etc/init.d

Hi.

I use Ubunutu 11.10, and i cant run saslauthd. I installed the bugfix, because i had that error message:

But it's not work, and i dont understand. There is a file in my /etc/init.d that name is saslauthd but as i see its a config file.

Could you help me?

And when i try to run "service saslauthd start" i get this:
saslauthd: unrecognized service

I didnt realized the most simply solution.

"apt-get remove --purge sasl2-lib"
"apt-get install sasl2-lib"
and configure the etc/default/saslauthd config file
