cant log in to squirrelmail

Hi
I have installed squirrelmail and isp config 3. I have added an email mailbox to my domain. the squirrelmail config test works fine and gives me the message "Congratulations, your SquirrelMail setup looks fine to me!".

But when I try to login with the email account i've created through isp config 3, i get a message saying "Unknown user or password incorrect". I've spent hours trying all sorts of usernames and passwords. Any ideas what i can do??

squirrelmail works fine before I installed ISPconfig3. I could log in, send and receive emails. After installing IPSconfig3 I get error unkown username and password.

Can anyone please help?

Are there any errors in your mail log (in the /var/log/ directory)?

Can you send an email to an account that is giving you problems and then post an excerpt from the mail log? There doesn't seem to be anything relavant in the above logs you posted.
