Extend Ext4 partition

I read the good howto

about resizing ext3 partition....but i have to resize an ext4 partion
2 question:
1) There are difference on the procedure (especially on the part of delete/re-create journaling) to expand an ext4 partition ?
2) This procedure can have impact on ispconfig config (especially on quota) ?

I haven't tried this yet, but I don't think so.

i would recomand using gparted boot disk ... i find it more safe

I must expand a partition on a OVH server...i don't think it's so simple start gparted boot disk in this situation....
