Default 'Domains' Module

I"m confused exactly what this is for. I look in the ISPConfig manual it mentions creating domains here will allow clients to select domains from this list to use. Though when I create a domain in here, switch to a client account, I see no place anywhere to select a domain in a 'dropdown' fashion anywhere for website creation or anything for that matter.. Thinking I just have poor understanding what exactly this module is used for.

I guess you did not activate the domain module under System > Interface config as described in the manual on page 242:

"This module is active only if you also check the Use the domain-module to add new domains checkbox on the Domains tab under System > System > Interface Config."
