Hi Till, fortunately this method finally did correct my login issues and update for serverone (the CPanel I couldn't access) That fix it! However, with this same server, all mail functions are working properly except dovecot - version 1.2 for 64 bit Fed. 14 Here is the error:

Starting Dovecot Imap: Last died with error (see error log for more information): Auth process died too early - shutting down

For server two, All files are there and accurate (passwords, etc.) Tried running the update again, but came back with "Already latest version". Can't access phpMyAdmin still.

Thanks

The message tells you waht you should do next. Take a look in the maillog to find the detailed error message.

Guess you run the ispconfig_update.sh script again instead of following the manual update procedure that I told you to use.

Ok Till, you caught me on the update. Can you give the URL or can I just use The Perfect Server Tutorial and replace install.php with update.php

Ok, I tried it your way, and it seemed to "want" to work better. It went through the process, but still receive for phpMyAdmin:

HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request.

Please see a few posts above where you posted that error the first time, I explained there what you can do to find the reason of that error.

I asked you to post the exact error messages from the apache error log and website error.log. Every 500 error is logged by apache, so check your logs.
