Default Postfix 452 4.3.1 Insufficient system storage

My mail error logs show this in attemped delivery over and over. I am assuming that this is why I can't send mail using webmail (squirrelmail) or any other mail program?

452 4.3.1 Insufficient system storage

Thanks.

Looks as if your hard drive is full. What's the output of
Code:
df -h
?

Nah, gotta lotta room there. Unless I'm seeing something different:

Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/mapper/vg_webserverone-lv_root
50G 5.5G 42G 12% /
tmpfs 7.9G 0 7.9G 0% /dev/shm
/dev/md127p1 485M 29M 431M 7% /boot
/dev/mapper/vg_webserverone-lv_home
300G 195M 285G 1% /home

Any other solutions? I've Googled that the queue could effect this, but don't know where to set it?

queue_minfree I believe? Thanks

Can you post an excerpt from your mail log?

Yes, here is another thing that strikes me as odd, but maybe I am just plain wrong. The only available mail log I have (that ever contains information, including what you'll see here) is located in this file path:

/var/spool/mail/root This is also where all client logs are located...only they are all filesize 0 (empty). Never anything here:

/var/log/mail Only /statistics. Anyhow, here is a pretty well repetitive error log.

Default 71 Can't execute command '/usr/sbin/sendmail -i -t -fadmin@hostwithsupport.com'.

Falko,

Additionally,

I am receiving this when sending through squirrelmail:

71 Can't execute command '/usr/sbin/sendmail -i -t -fadmin@hostwithsupport.com'.

During your tutorial, I remember shutting sendmail off, although following this filepath does have a file called 'sendmail.postfix'

hmmmm....

Thanks for all

Can you check your mail log in the /var/log/ directory?

Also, I think you use Maildir instead of mbox, so it's normal that there are no mails in /var/spool/mail. Mails go tohe the Maildir directory in each user's homedir.

Ok,

This is the part that I don't really understand. I did spend hours going through file paths to see what showed up where.

I do have Maildir located like /var/vmail/domain.com/username/Maildir.....always empty

Then for /var/log/mail I have 'statistics' so /var/log/mail/statistics That's all there.

Then in /var/spool/mail here is where all clients websites are listed like web20, web21, etc. These stay empty. The only thing in this path that ever receives mail is /var/spool/mail/root

Hopefully I can get this figured out soon. No contact forms, etc. will relay any information from the server.

Thanks

Please check your mail log in the /var/log/ directory. I can't help you without any exact error message.

I was looking for this problem for days and finally found a good solution.

Have a look at Fixing SMTP mail error 452 4.3.1 Insufficient system storage.

Enjoy!
