HowTo request Mailserver+pushmail/mailsync

Hi Guys @ Howtoforge,

I use Howtoforge a lot, but can't get a good setup for replacing a exchange server the way I want to.
I had a exchange server running, but just for mailing with activesync.

I would like to install a linux (debian or ubuntu preferred) server just for mailing but with the same capabilities as a exchange server.
So mail is pushed towards my mobile phone.

Can anyone here help me with this?

Zimbra is good alternative of exchange, but its open source edition do not allow mobile sync. Anyways, you may look at www.zimbra.com for more details.

Hi Dipesh,

I already looked at zimbra and indeed thats my point, no syncing with open-source package. I tried to make use of a mailserver howto and inplement zpush... But no luck.

That's why I posted my question here if someone with more experience could right me a good howto for this.
