sending mail out thru squirrelmail

I can log in to all the accounts I have created. I can receive email, spam filter working. but when I try to send out mail, I can receive it on another domain hosted on the server, but cant get anything to be sent to gmail, aol, yahoo, etc. I did a port scan and the smtp and pop ports are not blocked.

The error I get is, when I try to send to a gmail account:

alt4.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com[74.125.39.27]:25: Connection timed out

Any other ideas?

I got a green OK for everything, but the last 3 - cyberlogic, nomorefunn & SPAMBRL had timeouts.

Is your server on a dynamic IP? Dynamic IPs are blacklisted as well, and in this case I suggest you set up relaying: http://www.howtoforge.com/postfix_re...her_mailserver
