Default no complicated port, domain dns

Hi,

today i asked myself, if there was a way to setup my dns server, so that when people log in to their accounts on mydomain:8080 if there was a way to create a subdomain, login.mydomain that points to the same thing ?

You can do this either with rewrite rules, or you set up a reverse proxy - this guide should give you the idea: http://www.howtoforge.com/apache_rev...roxy_ispconfig
