MYDNS and Dynamic DNS scripts

I reviewed that link above and am very interested in it.

I'm concerned about screwing up ISPConfig's database or MyDNS because it uses the backend and not the webGUI to update my everchanging IP.

Does anyone have an opinion on the subject?

Basically I want my home WAN IP to be refreshed automatically to my DNS record on a domain so that I have my own Dynamic DNS without using those other service companies to do it for me.
