Default how to setup Https with osCommerce

Hi all

We have installed osCommerce2.3.1 everything works great.

How can we set it so it uses https instead of http.

We have a folder called ssl

This is the site location:
/var/www/clients/client1/web39/

We would like to set it so it uses https for the main site and the admin site

Cheers
Scorp

enable ssl in the website settings in ispconfig and then create a ssl cert on the ssl tab of the website settings. Thats also described in detail in the ispconfig manual.

Hi Till

Cheers for the reply

In the manual it states:
(please note that you can have only one SSL web site per IP address).
Important: you must select a specific IP address from the IP-Address drop-down menu

I have setup a ssl cert so when I login to the Admin side of Ispconfig it uses https:

I have noticed that I have already have the following files within the following path.
/etc/apache2/ssl# ls ispserver.crt ispserver.csr ispserver.key ispserver.key.secure

Can I import that ssl cert as stated in 5.4.1 of the manual to another website on the server or do I need to create a new self-signed certificate.

Cheers
scrop

Create a new self signed cert as explained in the manual.
