I have actually 2 questions about the above system.
Is there anyway of setting up say webmaster as part of a domain, then getting it to relay emails to say firstname.lastname@example.org
I mean being that email@example.com
going to firstname.lastname@example.org
's mailbox, an alias basically, is there anyway of doing this now, as I was able to previously, just in the new version you cannot do this through the admin webpage as it would seem.
Also I have this annoying problem, well it's in the defaults I know that all roots mail gets sent to email@example.com
I removed this out of the /etc/postfix/aliases file, but now its bringing up the following error:
May 4 08:56:42 server postfix/pickup: 5FBB43A64A4: uid=0 from=<firstname.lastname@example.org>
May 4 08:56:42 server postfix/cleanup: 5FBB43A64A4: message-id=<email@example.com>
May 4 08:56:42 server postfix/qmgr: 5FBB43A64A4: from=<firstname.lastname@example.org>, size=595, nrcpt=1 (queue active)
May 4 08:56:42 server postfix/smtp: 5FBB43A64A4: to=<email@example.com>, relay=smtp.virgin.net[22.214.171.124]:25, delay=0.47, delays=0.23/0.06/0.15/0.03, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (250 OK id=1QHWwg-0007Ec-7l)
May 4 08:56:42 server postfix/qmgr: 5FBB43A64A4: removed
Is there anyway of getting roots mail to be sent to the default location for the system mail at all?
I would appreciate any replies,
