Default mod_rewrite is instaled, enabled in http.conf but not work in joomla

HI All,
Please to help me ..

1.mod_rewrite is installed, enabled in http.conf but not work in Joomla.I have many 404 and 500 error. I make test pages for rewrite as is described in many forums. Please to help me to fix this problem? I have installed ISPConfig 2.37.

2. Newer ISPConfig 2.38 why not supply Mandriva 2010.2. Difference between 2010.1 and 2010.2 is small and not fundamental. How i can despite to install this version on my Mandriva 2010.2 or not? If yes how to exactly?
