Default port 8080

when I goto my domain and try to open port 8080 I get the apache fedora test page instead of web program associated with it. What am I missing?

Why do you think that port 8080 will point to your website ??????

Everyone knows that the http default port is port 80

http://www.yourdomainname.com
or
http://www.yourdomainname.com:80
