Default Apache2 mod_evasive

I'v read this http://goo.gl/va4TM with interest.
Is it ok to use install mod_evasive on an Debian ISPConfig3 server or are there known issues?

No, that should work without problems.

Falko,
After having some experience with this module, i must say that i don't recommend it on an ISPConfig3 server.

If you do, lots of 403 errors will occur in many websites.
I removed it again.

You might have to adjust the following parameters:
DOSPageCount
DOSSiteCount
DOSPageInterval
DOSSiteInterval

This page explains those settings: http://www.ivankristianto.com/web-de...apache-2/1427/

Hello Hans,

I have tried same setup, and also got a lot of 403 errors on my server.

Have you found a good configuration yet?

Else we must try experiment to a good configration with this module.
