ISPConfig 2, RHEL 6 & Dovecot?

Will ISPConfig 2 work on RedHat 6?

I did a test install, following the The Perfect Server - Fedora 14 x86_64 [ISPConfig 2] and it seemed to work.

However, I cannot seem to get dovecot to work. Whenever I try to login to imap on port 143 it does not work.

Do I need to downgrade from version 2.0 to version 1.2.x to get it to work?

Are there any other known issues running ISPConfig 2 on RHEL 6?

RHEL isn't officially supported, so I can't tell anything about it. But basically any POP3/IMAP daemon that supports Maildir should work if you selected Maildir in ISPConfig under Management > Server > Settings > Email.

Thanks for the hint.

Maildir was not enabled in dovecot by default.

Had to go int /etc/dovecot/conf.d/10-mail.conf and add
mail_location = maildir:~/Maildir

It is working now.
